Annetta is a multifaceted yoga teacher (E RYT 200, YogaWorks RYT 500) with over 1000 hours of training and multiple certifications in a variety of styles of yoga. She specializes in alignment based Vinyasa Flow, Gentle yoga, Yin yoga and Restorative yoga. She began practicing yoga in 1999, after some years away from the ballet barre, and she was immediately hooked due to the grounding, healing and transformative effect yoga had upon her. Throughout her yoga journey she has studied and practiced: Bikram, Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga, in studios, workshops and colleges around Northern California. 



Annetta's private, corporate, public classes and workshops are fun, educational, intuitive, thoughtfully sequenced and well balanced. She emphasizes breath and alignment to encourage students to develop a safe, sustainable and transformative practice. She teaches challenging Vinyasa flow, healing Hatha, nourishing Restorative & Yin yoga classes to all levels and ages. Her teaching is inspired by her own therapeutic practice, which she uses to build energy and restore balance. 



Her goal as a teacher is to SEE her students and perceive and teach what they really need. Yoga is much more than just exercise (asana) to Annetta. It is a complete lifestyle, that includes all 8 limbs, which lead her daily to greater self-love, awareness, health, happiness, peace, and bliss.

I am a RYT who has received my 200+ hours training and certificate. I also obtained by 20+ hour kids/teen yoga certificate. I am a Zumba teacher holding my B1, B2, and Strong by Zumba certifications. I also have a Mat Pilates certification, Primary Aerobics and Group Fitness certification, as well as, my Barre Above certification for Barre Fitness.

After practicing yoga for over 10 years, Sarah, an avid Ashtanga Yoga practitioner, completed her 200-hour teacher training at Charm City Yoga in Baltimore, Maryland as a way to deepen her own practice.  The experience of the training did indeed deepen her love of yoga and inspired her to share the practice and the peace it brings with others.  Sarah has also received training as a mindfulness based psychotherapist and infuses many of these skills along with the lessons of the Ashtanga Yoga method in her fast pace and fun Vinyasa classes.
