Forrest Yoga Directory

Welcome to the Yoga Journal Forrest Yoga Directory page. In this section you will find yoga studios, retreat centers, and teachers who specialize or incorporate Forrest Yoga into their practice and philosophy.

Creator Ana Forrest began teaching yoga in 1982 combining many styles and traditions to help facilitate her own healing. In a typical class you can expect a physically demanding practice in a heated room. Classes are designed to help students go deeper in their physical and emotional bodies. The aim of Forest Yoga is to connect a person with their life purpose by addressing their stuck areas off and on the mat. The practice can help you sweat out toxins, release blocked energy/emotions, and help celebrate your own inner strength.
