As human consciousness evolves, our understanding of our deep connection with the natural world also grows. Through Pavones Yoga Center's unique 26-day intensive yoga teacher training in Costa Rica, we merge the physical and contemplative practice of yoga with principles of conscious living that are crucial to long-term survival of life on our planet.

 

Having resided in the confines of the Midwest for 25 years, it was time to try something new.

Andy's yoga journey began upon his move to San Diego from Iowa in 2014. While he spent most of his time exploring and getting to know his new community through traditional fitness (i.e., running, hiking, biking, etc.). He also found some Southern California inspiration along the way and took up yoga and surf as almost daily practices.

This retreat is for you to escape to exotic island of Bali.  You might take your first yoga class with us, deepen your advanced practice or just take part of a rejuvenating gateway. Our All Inclusive program combines activities such as sunrise and sunset yoga (for All Levels), meditation, beach time, island nature exploration, organic detox meals, your personal relaxation time and wide range of other island excursions. You will detox, recharge your body and mind and explore the Balinese culture, cuisine and the island's natural wonders.

Jen is a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher through Boston's Back Bay Yoga (now YogaWorks Boston), and has studied a variety of yoga modalities including vinyasa, prenatal, and restorative yoga, as well as mindfulness meditation. She's had experience teaching yoga to practitioners of all ages, from elementary school students to seniors, and everything in between. No matter what style of yoga you're looking for, whether a vigorous vinyasa or a gentle slow flow, Jen will help you feel at ease with her lighthearted and playful style.

Jennie has travelled the world, after returning in 2009 began attending yoga classes at Breeze yoga studio in Kent and found that she really enjoyed it, and also found other benefits started happening to her, it helped with her stress and anxiety, and helped build her self-esteem and confidence as well as helping with an ongoing neck problem she had, and she lost weight.

I have been practicing Yoga for 5 years and now wish to share the knowledge of self and Yoga I have collected with others.  My classes are casual and a great place to start a practice or to grow your practice reaching for more advanced poses.  I am an RYT 200, trained in CPR and First Aid in the event of any emergency.  I have studied Yoga for Trauma, Chair and Chakra Yoga as I reach into the deeply personal healing work I feel called for.  I am also a Local Church Lay Servant in the United Methodist Church.

Olivia is a 200hrRYT, specializing in beginner and intermediate Vinyasa yoga, as well as Yin and Restorative yoga. She particularly enjoys teaching those who are just starting out in yoga, and individuals suffering from illness or injury. She has worked with a number of students coming back from recent health issues, to help them find true, whole health again, and to build spiritual, physical, and mental joy and confidence. She works on an individual basis, and with small groups in the Chicagoland area. 

Patti teaches a soulful and dynamic style of yoga, incorporating all disciplines and philosophical practices. Linking movement with breath, Patti guides the energy in each class to create change, peel off layers and work towards the balance between mind, body and spirit. Patti has a passion for cultivating community and empowering creativity through individual expression. She strongly believes that yoga is a practice that everyone can apply to their personal and professional life.

An adventurous soul and constant life learner - meet Stacy DiGregorio. Her life's journey brought her to connect with her body and help others do the same. After traveling and living a nomadic life with her college sweetheart Mark, they settled down in the Chicago suburbs to raise their family.
