Kathleen's first yoga instructor was her mother, who began teaching yoga when Kathleen was a teenager. Kathleen found yoga extremely helpful for her back pain related to scoliosis. She introduced it to many friends during college to reduce stress and dove deeper into her practice during a semester abroad in India. She enjoys sharing her love of yoga with others by helping them gain greater body awareness and most importantly, relax. Kathleen attributes restorative yoga to helping her through health problems, chronic fatigue and stress. Kathleen completed her Spanda® training with Dr. Jaime Stover Schmitt in 2014. She especially enjoys teaching yoga to children outside!
