My yoga journey started many moons ago when my Mom suggested my sister and I take a class.  ​I don't remember much about the class itself, but I do recall speaking enthusiastically about it afterward.  I also remember the smell of the satsuma oil that was burned throughout the class, and the various intrigues of my teacher that day, who wore endless strings of beads around her neck and had glittery, bright eyes and really wild curly hair.  Most strikingly, I felt calm.

My name is Jenny, I am a certified Yoga instructor in Bradenton, Florida. I offer Yoga instruction to beginner and intermediate yogis. In addition to teaching classes in traditional settings and in my NW Bradenton home, I offer beach yoga by appointment as well as periodic donation only classes on Anna Maria Island.

E-RYT 200, CYT.  I believe that yoga, just like life, is a journey.  There are twists and turns, ups and downs but every experience teaches you something new.  In my teaching I work to empower students to find their inner strength and listen to what their body is telling them.  The true power of yoga comes in allowing yourself to surrender, open and explore...even when it is difficult and dark.  Moving bravely and steadily through the dark will always bring you into the most vibrant and beautiful light!

In 2009--seven years after my cancer diagnosis and moments after yet another potentially embarrassing wardrobe malfunction duringa yoga class--I ditched my breast form at the studio, acknowledging that I had found my second home. I've used yoga to nurture myself as both a survivor and caregiver, discovering that a conscious practice is indeed for every body.

I have been practicing Yoga for 5 years and now wish to share the knowledge of self and Yoga I have collected with others.  My classes are casual and a great place to start a practice or to grow your practice reaching for more advanced poses.  I am an RYT 200, trained in CPR and First Aid in the event of any emergency.  I have studied Yoga for Trauma, Chair and Chakra Yoga as I reach into the deeply personal healing work I feel called for.  I am also a Local Church Lay Servant in the United Methodist Church.

As a Reikimaster, Kat is an alleviator of the body. Motivated to teach and help others getting their minds out to connect with body and breath, to be more present. Practicing yoga since her freshmen quarter Fall 1997 at CalPoly, her practice deepened as the years passed. Teaching yoga informally while teaching surf lessons for Sandbar Surf Company with her surfing dog Saint since 2013, she will guide you into asana, breathwork, and meditation. Restorative, yin, gentle, flow and alignment oriented yoga are emphasized. Tapping into the nectar of yoga, she provides a cushion from which to sit on and come into balance with. As a certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor, she can incorporate diet and asana recommendations to achieve balance within. Being in the field of healthcare for over a dozen years as a certified phlebotomist technician, lab assistant, nurse assistant, and nursing student, she is motivated for self-care. Her many years of mechanical engineering, nursing, biochemistry, biological sciences help her see the anatomical, physiological aspects and importance for alignment. Studying the Patanjali's Sutras, yogic philosophy, and original texts, she has aligned herself with ancient wise theories. Applying them to form and function is an everyday practice.

I'm Kate Gruber, a RYT200 yoga teacher excited to share my love of yoga with you. Although yoga intrigued me since high school gym classes where the teacher just played a yoga video (those were my favorite gym days!), I began practicing regularly in 2014. Looking for something new to do on a vacation, I stumbled across a hot flow yoga studio and decided to give it a try.

Her thoughtfully sequenced classes cultivate space to turn inwards and dig just a little deeper in order to create transformation. She brings a sense of depth and calm to fertility and restorative yoga, but also likes to challenge her students in vigorous vinyasa classes.
